✨ Optional Mods

These mods are not required to join the server but enhance your experience. Install them after the required mods. They are client-side only and will not affect other players.

🎮 Stream Deck Support (kRPC)

Required if you want to use KSPDeck Lite with your Elgato Stream Deck.

Install kRPC via CKAN

Open CKAN, search kRPC, install kRPC v0.5.4.

In-game: a kRPC server window will appear. Click Start Server before connecting your Stream Deck plugin.

Install kRPC MechJeb Addon Manual

⚠️ The standard CKAN version of kRPC-MechJeb does NOT work with MechJeb 2.15.x.

Download the patched version v0.8.1:

  1. Download KRPC.MechJeb.dll from that release
  2. Place it in GameData/KRPC.MechJeb/ (create the folder if needed)
  3. Do NOT install kRPC-MechJeb from CKAN

Install KSPDeck Lite

Download from the Elgato Marketplace:

Requires Stream Deck software 6.9 or later. The free version supports core flight controls and telemetry.

👨‍🚀 Diverse Kerbal Heads Manual

Adds variety to kerbal faces. Requires TextureReplacer (already installed via the required CKAN file).

The CKAN version is outdated and will not install correctly.
  1. Download manually from the KSP forums: forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com (search "Diverse Kerbal Heads" for the latest thread)
  2. Extract into GameData/ — TextureReplacer will pick it up automatically

🍎 macOS Note for Optional Mods

All optional mods listed here are compatible with macOS. kRPC has no known Mac-specific issues.
